That being the case, I am often surprised at the stipulations other agents insist on. Some, for instance, require a seller to sign over sole selling rights for up to sixteen weeks. Sixteen weeks! What does that say about the agent’s confidence in their ability to sell a property?

This is also useful if you want to test the market to see if you can achieve a quick sale within two or three weeks.
