Julian started the business in June 1982 together with his brother Alisdair, with his mother and father doing the administration and book keeping. He has grown the company to 4 offices and from 4 to 22 staff over the last 32 years, concentrating on Gloucester and the immediate surrounds. He lives in Longlevens and has enormous experience within the City, with a vast knowledge of Gloucester property and people. Although in his mid fifties, he has no intention of slowing up or retiring, is busier now than at any time and gives some of his time to fund raise within the city via the Rotary Club of Gloucester.

Joan Jeffs

Office Manager

Joan has worked for Farr and Farr in Longlevens for over 12 years but has in excess of 20 years experience in the property industry, having previously been employed by one of the large corporate agencies. Born and bred in Gloucester, and now living in Abbeymead, she has extensive knowledge of the local area and the property market. She believes that historic Gloucester is now emerging as a highly desirable place to live and work.

Sarah has worked for Farr and Farr since 2011 and during this time has gained valuable experience by working in different roles at all of the Farr and Farr branches.  She is now based permanently on the Sales team in the Longlevens office. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, running and mixed martial arts.

Jenny Massey

Jenny started working for Farr and Farr in October 1994 in the Gloucester office and worked full time for 11 years dealing with the daily administration.  She then went onto have her 2 children whilst still working Saturdays.  In September 2013, she joined the Longlevens office ‘sales team’. She is the longest serving member of staff and have watched the company grow from 2 to 5 offices.  She has knowledge of all aspects of sales and marketing, and is friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and always willing to help.

I joined Estate Agency in 1999 in my home county of Somerset and due to a family move me and my husband Paul re-located to the Tuffley area of Gloucester in March 2012.

Due to the nature of this job I soon became very familiar with all areas of the city of Gloucester, Paul regularly comments 'I know it better than he does' and he lived here for 10 years prior to our move. I enjoy the many facilities the city has to offer and we spend much of our spare time socialising at the Docks and I very much enjoy the many different types of property our city offers.

When my husband Dave and I moved back to Gloucester from Cheltenham we bought our house through Farr & Farr and were so impressed by the service we received that I asked if they had any staff vacancies, a few months later I started working for Farr & Farr doing Saturday viewings but I now do extra days in the week as needed.

I've worked in estate agency for over a year now and absolutely love it, I have a keen interest in property in work, as well as out of work. I currently live in Longlevens so have a great deal of insight in this particular area as my children go to nursery and school here to.

I grew up in a small village past Hartpury with a family that were property developers, which put me in good stead for this particular job.

Lauren lives in Longlevens with her husband and two children, aged 3 and 8. She has worked for Farr and Farr since January 2013 and worked in the Longlevens and Hucclecote branches before opening the Brockworth office. She loves her job and says that there is nothing more rewarding than helping vendors sell their homes and move onto the next chapter of their lives.

Sandra is married with 3 grown up children. She has worked in the Hucclecote office for 15 years and has been the office manager for approx 9 years. She has a very good knowledge of the local area and is therefore able to give optimistic, realistic and accurate valuations.
