Julian Farr


Julian started the business in June 1982 together with his brother Alisdair, with his mother and father doing the administration and book keeping. He has grown the company to 4 offices and from 4 to 22 staff over the last 32 years, concentrating on Gloucester and the immediate surrounds. He lives in Longlevens and has enormous experience within the City, with a vast knowledge of Gloucester property and people. Although in his late fifties, he has no intention of slowing up or retiring, is busier now than at any time and gives some of his time to fund raise within the city via the Rotary Club of Gloucester.

Sarah Farr


Sarah has been involved with property all her working life and joined Farr & Farr in 2011, and has since worked in different roles within the offices. Now a full Partner within the practice is based in the Longlevens Branch and is a crucial part of the sales team. Outside work she enjoys coastal walking, munro bagging, and Kayaking.

Danielle Wood

Valuer & Senior Sales Negotiator

I joined Farr & Farr back in 2014 having previously worked for a local competitor. With a background in property renovation and coming from a family of property developers, I have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the Gloucester housing market.

Having progressed my way up within the company to become a valuer, I am thoroughly enjoying the opportunities and challenges that this role offers me.

Jo Cornell

Senior Sales Negotiator and Sales Progressor

Upon joining Farr & Farr I have worked in the property industry in various roles for nearly 20 years and am truly passionate about property. Having a background as a Registered Mortgage Advisor and as a Paralegal for a local Residential Conveyancing firm I have a great deal of knowledge to assist with the whole sales process whether buying or selling. I previously worked for an alternative agency for 4 years running their sales progression and am really excited to move into a new role for such a well established company.

When my husband Dave and I moved back to Gloucester from Cheltenham we bought our house through Farr & Farr and were so impressed by the service we received that I asked if they had any staff vacancies, a few months later I started working for Farr & Farr doing Saturday viewings but I now do extra days in the week as needed.

Jenny Massey

Sales Administrator

Jenny started working for Farr and Farr in October 1994 in the Gloucester office and worked full time for 11 years dealing with the daily administration. She then went onto have her 2 children whilst still working Saturdays. In September 2013, she joined the Longlevens office ‘sales team’. She is the longest serving member of staff and have watched the company grow from 2 to 5 offices. She has knowledge of all aspects of sales and marketing, and is friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and always willing to help.

Beverley Mcleod

Sales Administrator

Beverley has worked for Farr and Farr for nearly 8 years and has lived in Longlevens for 32 years. Her whole working life has revolved around property, both in sales and administration.
